Who Are We?
White Oaks Learning Academy is a premier institution dedicated to shaping the next generation of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). We provide high-quality, hands-on training that blends technical skills with compassionate care principles. Our experienced instructors foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, ensuring students gain the knowledge, confidence, and expertise needed to thrive in the healthcare field.

What is an STNA?
State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) assist patients with essential daily care needs under the supervision of licensed nurses. STNAs are employed in nursing homes, hospitals, and home care settings across Ohio.
After completing your training and passing the state exam, you’ll be certified to work anywhere in Ohio — including over 140 long-term care facilities in the Cincinnati area.

The founders of White Oaks Learning Academy are dedicated healthcare professionals committed to excellence in STNA education. With a passion for mentorship and hands-on training, they created a supportive learning environment that empowers students with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in healthcare.
Thenjiwe Ndebele, APRN-CNP
Thenjiwe, a Nurse Practitioner by profession, began her journey in healthcare in 2002 as a compassionate STNA, assisting residents in nursing homes. Fueled by a desire to advance her knowledge and skills, she pursued further education at Butler Tech, where she earned her Diploma in Practical Nursing (LPN) in 2006. She continued her journey at Hondros College, obtaining her ADN and becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2009.
In 2017-2019, Thenjiwe achieved her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and became a certified Nurse Practitioner in 2019. With years of experience and a deep commitment to education, Thenjiwe is excited to share her expertise and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals through White Oak Learning Academy.
Sheena Kambule, RN, RRT
Sheena brings a unique combination of skills and knowledge as a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Her extensive clinical experience and passion for training make her an invaluable co-founder of White Oak Learning Academy. Sheena is dedicated to ensuring students receive top-notch education and practical skills to excel in their careers.
